I walk with Wrigley in the mornings first thing. It is my time to get woken up ... get him out for a walk... and do some thinking. Lately, it has been my time to count my blessings. I am usually filled with tremendous gratitude for the great things going on in my life. I think I mostly feel this way because I am walking through my great town areas... and am enjoying the simplicity of taking my sweet dog for a walk. It is a nice time, and sets the tone for the day. This weekend is looking like it is going to be quite eventful. I may go to my sister's tonight to spend the night, our friends Rob and Jen may be in from CA tomorrow, I need to run 14 miles tomorrow morning with Kate... and I need to get out house in shape. All in all, it is looking like a good weekend. If Rob and Jen actually make it here this Saturday, I will be surprised. They were on a cruise this week and I find it unlikely that they will be able to turn it around to get here by Saturday. They have passes they can use at the last minute on JetBlue... and they can travel last minute so that is not the issue. They just don't have the hussle sometimes it takes to get here like that. So, we will be ready if they do come, and if not, we will be glad if and when they get here. Should make for an interesting time, all of us packed into our little place. Interesting to say the least. Fun, too. I just sometimes feel bad that I can't be more of a host to people to make them feel comfy. 343847
